The "Generation 2" buckle is made from glass-filled nylon, resulting in increased corrosion resistance, decreased weight. This also provides an increased convenience when traveling via commercial airline. The Aegis belt is 1.5" wide and 0.15" thick, and is composed of 2 layers of our proprietary scuba webbing.
